Dairy-Free Cashew Cheese Sauce

Want a cheesy sauce that's dairy free? Love to dip a chip or pour a little sauce over your favorite dish? This sauce is a great cheesy addition to your meal!


  • 1 cup raw cashew nuts

  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast (add more as needed)

  • 1 crushed clove garlic

  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • 5 tbsp water


How to Make It

Step 1

Add the cashew nuts, nutritional yeast, crushed garlic and lemon juice in a blender. Add sea salt and black pepper. Measure out the water and add it in. Blend until very smooth and creamy.

Step 2

For a thicker cheese, use less water. For a thinner salad dressing consistency, use a little more water.
